Man arrested after crashing in Fargo Sunday; Charged with DUI-drugs

Jordan Wichman Cass County Jail

FARGO (KVRR-KFGO) – A man is facing charges after a crash around noon Sunday on I-29 at the I-94 junction in Fargo.

The Highway Patrol says a vehicle traveling south on I-29 cut across all southbound lanes, entered the west ditch, drove through the DOT fence, and drove across 38th Street South. The vehicle continued as it drove through a business boulevard, side-swiped a tree, entered a parking lot, and then an adjacent field.

The field was under construction and there’s a large dirt hill. The vehicle drove up the hill and vaulted, ending up on the downside of the hill.

The driver, 32-year-old Jordan Wichman, of Horace, was not injured.  He was transported to Essentia Health by ambulance and arrested on DUI-drug charges.
