American Crystal Sugar reports record harvest
MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) – American Crystal Sugar Company says the 2024 sugar beet harvest was a record breaker.
The company says an estimated 15 billion sugar beets were harvested this year.
Other harvest-related records were also shattered.
American Crystal says October 6 was a record piling day with 1,223,362 tons piled. The previous record was set on October 19, 2021.
