Golden Drive For Homeless Kids Distributes Socks and Goods

Golden Drive

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Golden Drive for Homeless Kids started their distribution of socks and goods today at the West Fargo Rural Fire Department.

The drive started in September bringing a few thousand pairs of socks, a mix of food, health and body products, and other goods.

Their mission is to raise awareness of the homeless crisis that children within the community are experiencing.

With school officials coming from across the Fargo and Moorhead area to organizations like Youthworks, everyone took part to give back to the children.

“We are 100 percent volunteer run. No brick and mortar, no ones paid. Everything that comes in goes right back out. We’re very fortunate to have such a great community and our great volunteers that make this happen also,” said Susan Baron, Founder of Golden Drive for Homeless Kids.

Golden Drive will be hosting their next drive starting November 1st till the 30th. For more information, you can reach out via their Facebook page.
