International Student Exchange searching for host families

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Recruiting is under way to find local families interested in hosting international exchange students.

International Student Exchange has recently hired an area representative to bring students from other countries to be hosted here.

Students have come from over 40 different countries such as Italy, Brazil, and Vietnam.

Yet Leah Pfeiffer, the Area Representative, has mentioned that schools in the Fargo and surrounding areas have not had any international students awhile.

“I think it will bring a lot of diversity to the area that especially the small towns around here that sometimes lack. It will be really nice to change it up and learn new traditions from other cultures. And we can share some of our own as well.”
