RDO Hosts 25th Annual Caters Taters Fundraising Event With Farm in the Dell

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — RDO hosts its 25th annual Caters Taters fundraising luncheon with proceeds going this year to “Farm in The Dell”.

R.D. Offutt Company is one of the largest potato growers in the nation.

At this event, volunteers serve up steaming potatoes and all the toppings.

Each year different charitable organizations are chosen to be a part of the fundraiser.

Farm in The Dell will be using the money raised to focus on program expansion and improvements at the farm.

“So that’s our origin. So our founder Ron Offutt started growing potatoes over sixty years ago. So for us it’s natural when we think about potatoes and feeding people and giving back to the community it’s just who we are,” said Tim Curoe, CEO of RDO.

RDO has raised over one point one million dollars for charity with the event since 2000.
