Sanford Hosts Annual Reverse Trick or Treating For Young Patients

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Sanford Health’s annual Reverse Trick or Treating event brought smiles to kids at Sanford Children’s.

Employees dressed up in themed group costumes to bring goodies to their young patients.

The kids and their families gathered in their rooms to experience Halloween together.

The tradition has been something that both staff and patients have enjoyed putting together and pulling off for years.

“So it’s an opportunity for us to see the impact that we’re making everyday. Being able to meet some of the kids that we’re raising dollars for to support their work and it’s also really important for us as a team when we get together and have a little fun,” said Amy Hinkemeyer, Vice President Sanford Health Foundation.

Many of the kids were happy to experience a sweet treat to celebrate Halloween.
