Woman killed in weather-related crash in Minnesota

HUTCHINSON, Minn. (KVRR-KFGO) – A Hutchinson woman was killed during Thursday’s snowfall.

The state patrol says Audrey Lankey, 77, was eastbound on State Hwy. 7 and a pickup was westbound when they collided about 2 miles west of Hutchinson. There was snow and ice on the road when the crash happened around 10 a.m.

The pickup driver, 29-year-old Matthew Alberts of Eden Prairie, was taken to the Hutchinson hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
