#15 UND football falls to Indiana State on the road

TERRE HAUTE, IN (KVRR) – #15 UND Fighting Hawks suffered their second loss in a row after falling to the Indiana State Sycamores in Terre Haute, IN. UND could only score three points in the fourth quarter as they lost 35-31 to their Missouri Valley Conference Football opponent.

This is also four losses on the road for UND who have struggled outside the Alerus Center in Grand Forks. They opened the game with Simon Romfo throwing a pick-6 on the second play of the game. Romfo finished the day with 18-26, 187 yards with two touchdowns. The rushing attack got 185 yards on the day, but their defense also gave up 390 total yards in Memorial Stadium.

It doesn’t get any easier for UND (5-4) who take on the South Dakota State Jackrabbits on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Grand Forks.
