Bremer Bank, United Way of Cass Clay Assemble Home Kits for Fifth Year
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Bremer Bank and United Way of Cass Clay have joined forces to assemble Welcome Home Kits for families transitioning out of homelessness.
This will be the fifth year Bremer Bank has worked alongside United Way to put together these kits.
The kits are filled with household essentials such as bedding and kitchen utensils.
The goal for the day is to assemble 250 kits and send them out to several non-profits throughout the area.
“Our goal here is to help our neighbors feel welcome as they transition from homelessness into stable housing and we really hope to impact those experiencing economic and racial disparities. And just help folks know that they’ve got a neighbor who cares,” said Julie Whitney, Senior Vice President at Bremer Bank.
Since starting Home for Good Bremer Bank has packed 3,500 kits.
