Red River Modules Model Railroad Club shows off their impressive miniatures
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – November is National Model Railroad Month, and the Red River Modules Model Railroad Club broke out their models to celebrate.
There were a variety of models on display at the Fargo Public Library on Sunday, from a Lego model train, to steam engines to diesel trains.
It’s a great chance to show people their work before the holiday season, when the demand for model trains picks up.
They say these models are living art projects, with details evolving and growing as they work on them over the years.
And the reactions they get make the work worth it.
“Usually it’s “Wow!” And the other thing is “Where do you keep it?” Those are the two questions that we get a lot. It can be a little bit overwhelming just looking at it, but we’ve got a layout here that’s very big. And just to kind of show what can be done, and we have a nice area here where we can show it off.”
