Fargo man arrested after police chase through West Fargo

WEST FARGO (KVRR-KFGO) – A 67-year-old Fargo man is in jail after leading police on a chase through West Fargo Monday.

Police say officers tried to stop a vehicle driven by Sultan Osman shortly after 5 p.m. for a traffic violation on 9th Street S., but Osman fled.

Officers began a pursuit. They followed Osman through the Charleswood neighborhood and north across 13th Avenue S. Officers say Osman struck a vehicle at the intersection of 10th Avenue and 6th Street E. at a low rate of speed. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

A police spokesperson says Osman was arrested for fleeing in a motor vehicle, outstanding warrants, driving without liability insurance, and driving under suspension.

No one was injured during the pursuit or arrest.
