Man shot inside Breckenridge home Thanksgiving morning

BRECKENRIDGE, Minn. (KFGO: 11/30 UPDATE) – Police have identified the two men involved in a shooting at a home in Breckenridge Thursday morning.

Breckenridge Police Chief Kris Karlgaard says 25-year-old Michael Mccall was airlifted to Fargo with life-threatening gunshot wounds. 67-year-old Mark Danford had no injuries.

Danford lives in the home where the shooting happened. Police say Mccall was not a resident of the home.

Mccall is in stable condition and is expected to survive. No one has been arrested.

BRECKENRIDGE, Minn. (KVRR-KFGO) – Breckenridge Police are investigating after a man was shot inside a home early Thursday morning.

The department says around 2:30 a.m., officers were called to the 200 block of 3rd Street N. where a man who doesn’t live at the home was suffering from gunshot wounds.

The homeowner was also there. He was not hurt.

The gunshot victim was taken to the CHI St. Francis emergency room before being flown to another hospital.

Breckenridge Police Chief Kris Karlgaard says the man’s injuries are life-threatening, but he is expected to survive.

Karlgaard says the shooting was an isolated incident and no arrests have been made.
