Health, Tech and Trades Career Expo at Fargodome helps students prep for future
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Students in the region headed to Fargodome to get hands-on with some of their career opportunities.
The Health, Tech and Trades Career Expo featured exhibitors ranging from drone pilots to nurses, and truck drivers to electricians.
The expo also featured several different universities and trade schools to present the different pathways that students can take in their futures.
They say one of the big goals is to inspire them to start thinking now about their future careers.
“We’re really high on education, teaching, and nursing. So just giving students the opportunity to know what the options are for them, and then also giving them stats as far as financially what it costs so that they’re knowledgeable as they go into the fields and get ready to learn,” said Breon Quintero with Mayville State.
Around 3,800 students attended the expo.
