Twins Caravan Stops in Fargo

This is the last portion of Leg 1 of the famed Twins offseason extravaganza.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The Sanctuary Events Center filled up with blue-and-red jerseys and sounds of fans chatting animatedly about their chances in the upcoming season -and that was before the big tour bus even rolled up out front.

Some of the folks on that massive conveyance were franchise legend Justin Morneau, mascot TC Bear, and active players Austin Martin and Zebby Matthews.

The Twins are looking for a bounce-back year after missing the playoffs in 2024.

Morneau, who has moved into a broadcasting role for the club, says he’s left behind a lot of the superstitions of his playing days, as being on the mic brings a bit less stress than taking the field.

“When the game’s over, I don’t take as much of it home with me as I used to,” he explained.

“So it’s been nice to be able to be involved, but at the same time be able to see my kids grow up and do all that stuff too.”

The Twins open their season in St. Louis against the Cardinals on March 27.
