First Responders and Emergency Notification Help Find Missing Man in Cass County

CASS COUNTY, N.D. (KFGO) – Cass County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the Good Samaritan Center in Arthur, North Dakota early Thursday morning on a report that a 47-year-old resident was unaccounted for and may have left the facility.
The Arthur Fire Department along with multiple resources from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office started a search of the surrounding area. A wireless Everbridge notification was also sent out to alert the community of the missing man.
Shortly after 5 a.m., a passerby contacted dispatch advising that they passed an individual walking alongside the roadway in the area of County Road 4 and County Road 11. Deputies responded to the area, made contact with the man, and confirmed it was the missing resident.
The individual was safely transported back to the Good Samaritan Center with no known medical problems resulting from this incident.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office continues to review the incident and there is no further information is available.
