NDSU basketball escapes with close 87-82 win over UND
FARGO (KVRR) – The North Dakota State Bison men’s basketball program picked up a close 87-82 Summit League win over North Dakota at the SHAC. NDSU was by Jacksen Moni who scored 24 points while UND was led by Treysen Eaglestaff who dropped in 22.
The first half looked like the Bison were going to pull away after the team continued to hit 3s, but the Fighting Hawks kept it close due to their rebounding and defense. NDSU went into the break up 41-37.
The second half saw NDSU jump out to a 12 point lead, but Eaglestaff chipped away at the deficit to keep the Hawks in the game. Late in the half, Moni imposed his will hitting clutch shots along the way helping the Bison to the close win.
