Fargo Man Arrested During High Risk Search Warrant

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A Fargo man is in jail after Red River Valley SWAT and Metro Street Crimes Unit executed a high risk search warrant.

36-year-old Paul Pelaez was arrested in the 5900 block of 25th Street South around 11:30 a.m.

Pelaez is a suspect in an aggravated assault that happened in December.

The SWAT team was called to assist in the arrest because of his criminal history.

In 2018, Pelaez was charged with aggravated assault.

That charge was dismissed later that year.
