Sanford Children’s Hospital And Fargo Radio Station Host 25th Annual Cares For Kids Radiothon

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Phones were ringing off the hook for the 25th annual Cares for Kids Radiothon for Sanford Children’s Hospital.

The Radiothon is hosted by Froggy 99.9, Y94, and KFGO and includes inspiring stories of hope and courage.

One hundred percent of every dollar raised will help care for kids at Sanford

Last year the event raised $185,000 surpassing the previous years donations of $160,000.

The money has helped provide services, supplies, and research for kids at the hospital.

Families travel from across the state to receive care.

“I mean we travel three hours to be here but you know her care is so important to us and they do a great job,” said Amanda Hegland.

“And every time he comes to the room I’m like, get back to work! You’re going to get fired,” said Piper Hegland.

The radiothon continues Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
