Brewhalla Hosts Annual Hotdish Festival
Now in its seventh year, the festival is more popular than ever.

FARGO, N.D. – People flocked to Brewhalla in record-breaking numbers to celebrate perhaps the biggest staple in Midwest cuisine.
The 7th annual Hotdish Festival took place today, and tickets were sold out well before it began.
It was a complete experience, with over 10 local restaurants all competing for the title of best hotdish – plus there were desserts, bread and butter, and even a photo booth in “Grandma’s basement.”
Event organizers said that restaurants in the F-M area are always excited to share their creations for the public and to try and claim that spot at the top.
“The Sandbox is a new one this year. Duane’s House of Pizza, they’re new. But a lot of the same people you’ve seen in years past,” said Carly Montplaisir, Event Director for Brewhalla, listing off some of the participants. “Blackbird, 701, Wurst – it’s just really fun to see what they come up with. They’re so creative.”
