National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day Brings Customers out in Droves
Multiple parlors in the F-M area offered special items to celebrate the holiday.

FARGO, N.D. – Breakfast for dinner is a staple of Midwestern cuisine.
But, it turns out – ice cream for breakfast is pretty darned popular too.
Saturday was National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day, and people turned out in huge numbers for treats despite the chilly weather.
Lundy’s in West Fargo was totally full at at 9:30 in the morning, as customers packed inside to get their donut ice cream sandwiches.
The situation was much the same at the grand re-opening of The Silver Lining Creamery downtown where the owner says demand made them open their doors early.
Both of the specialty treats from those two parlors were made possible through collaborations with Sandy’s, who provided the donuts for the event.
