Juvenile faces multiple charges after crashing into garage in south Fargo

FARGO (KVRR) – One person has been arrested after police say a juvenile in a stolen vehicle crashed into a garage in south Fargo.

Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 3500 block of 12th Ave. N. at 8 a.m. Monday.

The vehicle was located near 30th Ave. S. and 33rd St. S. When police attempted to make a traffic stop, the driver fled.

The vehicle crashed at the intersection of Prairiewood Drive S. and 17th Ave. S. The driver got out of the vehicle while still in motion. The vehicle crashed into a garage in the 2700 block of Cobblestone Ct. S.

Police detained the juvenile for possession of a stolen vehicle, aggravated reckless endangerment, felony fleeing in a motor vehicle and refusal to halt.

The suspect was taken to the West Central Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Moorhead.
