College student find job opportunities at NDSU’s Spring Career Expo
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Job seekers flock to the Fargodome to meet with potential employers at NDSU’s Spring Career Expo.
The university puts on several job expos each year, giving students a better chance at finding employment straight out of college.
Employers were there to fill both full and part time positions they have available.
While the event is not open to the public, it is open to students from all colleges in the metro, along with NDSU alumni.
The director says they want students to take advantage of the career fairs, not just their senior year, but every year.
Becky Bahe, NDSU Career and Advising Center, says, “We really try to get students to understand, like, this is not a come here your last year. Come here throughout your time at NDSU. Make those relationships. And also our industry partners. They really want to understand what are students learning, what are they coming to us with, and it’s a good opportunity for both of those things to happen.”
NDSU’s next job fair is scheduled for March and will focus on part-time and summer jobs.
