NDSU Junior Posts Best-Ever Finish at Daytona ARCA Menards Series

Bryce Haugeberg dodged many wrecks on a hectic afternoon to secure 10th in the Ride the 'Dente 200.

FARGO, N.D. – NDSU junior Bryce Haugeberg was born and raised in West Fargo – and this region fostered his love for all things racing.

“I started when I was 8 years old, racing at the fairgrounds in a go-kart,” he said.

His dad Wade was also quick to notice this trend.

“He really enjoyed it and seemed to be pretty good at it,” Wade remarked.

Still, neither of them could have known that by 2025 – Bryce would have raced four times at Daytona International Speedway as part of the ARCA Menards Series.

Saturday, February 15 marked that fourth occasion.

Bryce may have had his most support to date.

Numerous friends and family that accompanied him to Florida. There was a well-attended watch party at Buffalo Wild Wings. And this year, Bryce had all of Bison nation behind him, as he hit the track in a special-wrapped green-and-gold Toyota.

He finished tenth in the Ride the ‘Dente 200, which is his best ever finish at Daytona.

Believe it or not – he thinks he could have done better.

“Overall, my performance was a little sloppy. But coming out with a top 10 was pretty cool.”

So he plans to return next year and prove that he can.
