Fargo City Commissioners Discuss 2024 Community Survey Results
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Fargo City Commissioners met to go over the results of the 2024 community survey.
It was conducted over the last five months with over eight hundred Fargo residents asked to identify what they think about the city.
Many highlighted the affordability and opportunities that Fargo has to offer and how crime and homelessness is an issue.
Commissioners main focus was on how this information may help plan new projects for the future.
That includes sharing information with the public.
“As part of our ongoing recording of our meetings to be debuting a new service that you can search by a person’s name or a keyword. And it will bring you to those meetings that was talked about. So we’re not requiring to them to go to the agenda and then look for that part in the minute,” said Gregg Schildberger, Chief Communications Officer.
The tool has not yet been set up.
Commissioners plan to meet at least twice a year to focus on the areas the public has highlighted in the survey.
