32nd Annual Sugar Valley Toy Show
There was a toy option for everyone, from $5-10 Hot Wheels to collectors' items that could cost thousands.
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – Toy enthusiasts of all levels got a real treat this weekend as the Sugar Valley Toy Show returned to Fargo.
The event was held both Saturday and Sunday at Hilton Garden Inn.
Nearly 20 vendors showed up with their wares, ranging from your normal Hot Wheels to collectors’ items that could sell for tens of thousands of dollars.
Event organizers say that people mainly come by to focus on replicas of tractors, trucks, and other heavy equipment because of their experiences in those industries.
“You know as well as I do, it’s a farm community,” explained Bob Johnson, show organizer.
“The people that buy tractors, are ones they either drove on, or their parents owned, or grandparents, or something.”
Johnson says the most fulfilling aspect of the event was seeing so many familiar faces and that he and his friends have been meeting up at the show for over a decade and counting.
