Sanford Presents Lifesaving Award to Retired Doctor, Several Hornbacher’s Workers

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Sanford Ambulance presents a Lifesaving Award to a retired doctor and several Hornbacher’s workers who saved the life of a cardiac arrest victim.

The incident took place on January 6th at Northport Hornbacher’s.

David Corbine had just come from Fargo V-A and was going to pick up groceries.

He collapsed and several Hornbacher’s employees came to his aid.

A man who was walking behind Corbine is a retired doctor and helped provide medical attention before paramedics arrived on the scene.

“I’m still tearing up, I couldn’t believe the love that I felt. That all these people cared about me and well when I saw these trophies and the medals, they deserve it because they took the time to go after a customer,” said David Corbine.

Corbine says he is grateful for all the people that brought him here today.
