Holy Cross completes construction of new church in West Fargo

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR)  — After nearly two years of construction, Holy Cross Catholic Church is complete.

Crews are still on site putting some finishing touches on the church, which has been under construction since 2023.

One third of the funds were paid by the church and a fundraising campaign, with the rest from loans.

The project also built an addition to the church’s office space.

One large item that remains is the addition of murals on the sanctuary and side isles.

“We are not completed with this phase, in a way, because we have artwork that’s going to be done and that’s not in yet. “But when that is in it’s going to be absolutely beautiful,” said Father Phil Ackerman. “But, you know something? It’s already beautiful.”

It will take about a year for the artwork to be completed.

A dedication ceremony for the church will be held Thursday night at 7.
