NDSU Bison football team to visit White House, meet with Trump

WASHINGTON (KVRR) – The North Dakota State University Bison football team will visit the White House and meet with President Trump on April 9.
Sen. John Hoeven says the team is being honored for winning the NCAA Division I FCS National Championship.
“We are looking forward to honoring their achievements on April 9 with this visit to the White House, and we appreciate President Trump and his team for working with us to make it happen,” Hoeven said.
“Their invitation to the White House highlights the exceptional talent and determination of our student-athletes,” NDSU President David Cook said.
“We thank Senators Hoeven and Cramer for joining us in celebrating this remarkable milestone.”
The team is also scheduled to stop at the U.S. Capitol.
