Fargo Man Sentenced In Fatal Hit-And-Run Last December Near 52nd Avenue South Walmart

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — The Fargo man who pleaded guilty earlier this month in a fatal hit and run is sentenced to four years in prison.

23-year-old Alex Cruz hit and killed 36-year-old Robyn Krause of Fargo around 6:30 a.m. on December 23.

Krause was crossing the street near the 52nd Avenue South Walmart at the time.

Cruz pleaded guilty to failing to stop for an accident involving death and driving under suspension.

He was cited for speeding four times in 2024 including one citation for driving 23-miles per hour over the limit in West Fargo.
