Mahnomen County two-vehicle crash sends 6 to hospitals

MAHNOMEN, Minn. (KVRR-KFGO) – Six people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 59 south of Mahnomen shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday.

The Minnesota State Patrol says an SUV was northbound when it collided with a southbound SUV.

The driver of the northbound vehicle and three passengers and the driver and a passenger in the second vehicle had non-life-threatening injuries. They were all transported to hospitals in Mahnomen, Detroit Lakes and Fargo.

The highway was snow and ice-covered at the time of the collision.
