FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – Shoppers at the Dakota Ranch thrift store location on University got a little extra surprise when they walked in this weekend.

The team set up a special pop-up shop with a Western theme.

This showcased higher-end vintage products that were normally only available on Dakota Ranch’s website.

Organizers say these items always see a surge in popularity when the rodeo comes to town and special sales like this really help them in their mission to assist the boys and girls of the area.

“With listing things online, we’re able to reach a larger demographic that’s not just local,” explained Sashka Curic, director of e-commerce for Dakota Ranch.

“A lot of our shoppers that shop online are actually from California, New York, Texas, so we’re able to raise more money for the kids in the program, which is awesome.”

Due to the popularity of the event, they’re likely going to have another western-themed pop up sometime around June.
