Enderlin Woman Accused of Attacking Boyfriend With Scissors And Knife While He Was Sleeping

ENDERLIN, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — An Enderlin, North Dakota woman is charged with attempted murder for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend multiple times.

Police say 47-year-old Amelia Garces then barricaded herself inside the home on Saturday morning.

The victim, a 48-year-old man, was able to escape.

He had several stab wounds to his head and shoulder and said Garces had been drinking and attacked him while he was sleeping with scissors and a knife.

She surrendered about two hours later and had a blood alcohol level of point one oh, three hours after the attack.
