4 Luv of Dog Brings Pups to Tommy’s

The rescue tries to get their adoptable dogs out to public events as much as possible to increase their chance of finding a forever home.

FARGO, N.D. – Customers looking to get their cars cleaned up this weekend were welcomed by a pleasant furry surprise.

4 Luv of Dog set up outside the Tommy’s Express Car Wash location on 40th Street South.

With them were a whole bunch of pups looking for their forever homes, including Aroo and Rigatoni.

Staff say that these types of events are vital for getting the dogs adopted, as they can express more of their personalities than they’re able to inside the shelter.

“It can be a little hard for people to imagine a dog’s personality through their description,” explained Ashley Heuer.

“They’re always different out and about in the world, versus at the shelter where they can be a little stressed.”
