Vikings Head Coach Kevin O’Connell to participate in Roger Maris All-Star Week

FARGO (KVRR) – Minnesota Vikings Head Coach Kevin O’Connell is among those participating in the 2025 Roger Maris All-Star Week in Fargo.

The event, which includes the annual Roger Maris Celebrity Golf Tournament, will be held June 16-20.

Former Minnesota Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway and sports broadcaster Marney Gellner are also slated to appear.

Benefits from the event benefit Sanford Roger Maris Cancer Center.

The announcement of the celebrities came at a media conference for the Swing Training opening event.

Teams gathered at Suite Shots to officially kick off the festivities and begin to raise money.

Those squads of up to six players played a custom “61” game where they got 61 swings to accumulate points.

100% of funds raised benefit the Sanford Roger Maris Cancer Center.

Former Minnesota Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway, former NHL and University of North Dakota hockey coach Dave Hakstol, North Dakota State head men’s basketball coach David Richman and Roger Maris Jr. were in attendance and took part in the gameplay.
