West Fargo police arrest man after traffic stop turns into chase

WEST FARGO (KVRR) — West Fargo Police arrest a man who led officers on a pursuit.

Police tried to stop a vehicle for multiple outstanding warrants in the 400 block of 12th Avenue Northwest after 2:30 this afternoon.

43-year-old William Jacobs, who has no permanent address, took off going east on 12th Avenue and then southbound on 9th Street.

Officers used a PIT maneuver and were successful in stopping his vehicle.

Jacobs was arrested for felony fleeing, driving under suspension, and multiple outstanding warrants.
