Four trucks destroyed or damaged in Wimbledon, ND Fire

WIMBLEDON, N.D. (KVRR-KFGO) – The Wimbledon Rural Fire Department was dispatched to the Arrowwood Prairie Fertilizer facility on a report of a semi on fire in the parking lot late Thursday night.

When they arrived, firefighters found three semis and another truck burning. The truck trailers did not contain chemicals or fertilizer. Fire crews used water and foam to bring the fire under control. Three of the four trucks were total losses.

There were no injuries. The fire is under investigation.

The Dazey, Courtenay, and Valley City Rural Fire Department also responded to the fire.

Wimbledon is located northwest of Valley City.
