FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – LEGO enthusiasts of all ages got to see masterful creations this weekend when the BRICK CONVENTION rolled into town.

The two-day event took place at the John E. Carlson Coliseum.

Several master builders were on hand to showcase their best LEGO artwork and answer questions from those interested in the hobby.

There were also building stations, photo opportunities, and of course vendors selling all sorts of LEGO sets for builders to take home.

One master builder says that LEGO has such staying power as a hobby because it’s an incredibly versatile building block that opens up your imagination.

“LEGO is a tool. It’s an artist’s medium,” explained Master Builder Tom Jacobsen.

“Whether you’re a master builder like me, who’s 65 years old, or whether you’re a 10-year-old – we all start with the same pile of brick. And what you do with that pile of brick comes from your imagination, which is driven by your heart.”

Tickets were $14.99 online or $20 at the door.

The BRICK CONVENTION’s next stop is in Springfield, Missouri.
