Local Non-Profit Hosts Garage Sale To Raise Funds For Awareness and Support

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A local non-profit hosted its first-ever garage sale to raise funds.
The sale was run by the FM Special Needs Support Network, a local group of parents who, with their non-profit, bring awareness and support for their kids and other families.
Each person who came in was given the opportunity to fill a bag for ten dollars.
From clothes, shoes, toys, furniture, and more.
Many were coming in to support the non-profit.
“Well, because we have individuals in our own lives that have special needs and need that acceptance and support. And so coming together as a community and raising acceptance, support, and awareness is really important because they deserve everything that everybody else does,” said Bri Schjei, Co-Founder of The FM Special Needs Support Network.
