Man injured after truck hits train in West Fargo

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR)  — The West Fargo Fire and Police Departments were dispatched to a crash between a pickup and a train on Tuesday.

The call came in just before 11:30 a.m. in the 400 block of 12th Avenue Northeast.

The pickup was traveling in the eastbound lanes when it was struck by a BNSF train.

The pickup was dragged approximately 100 feet and came to rest along the railroad tracks.

The driver, a 34-year-old man from Valley City, North Dakota, was injured and taken to Sanford Medical Center.

Potential charges are under investigation by North Dakota Highway Patrol.
