Man in Chaffee, North Dakota dies after being pinned under vehicle

CASS COUNTY, N.D. (KVRR) — A man is dead after a vehicle fell on top of him.

Cass County Sheriff’s Office says it happened shortly before 5 p.m. in Chaffee, North Dakota.  The sheriff’s office and multiple first responders found the 68-year-old man dead at the scene.

Authorities say the devices used to the hold the vehicle up failed.

The victim’s name is not being released at this time and the incident is still under investigation.
