Four more measles cases confirmed in North Dakota

FARGO (KVRR) – The North Dakota Dept. of Health and Human Services says four additional cases of measles have been confirmed. Two of the cases are in Cass County, the other two are in Williams County.
The department says the new cases are linked to contact with other known cases. The total statewide case count this year is 17.
So far, there’s no evidence of community spread in Cass County.
State health officials say if an exposed person develops symptoms, they should notify their health care provider before seeking care to ensure that special arrangements can be made to prevent other patients and medical staff from possible exposure.
