Search for child believed to go missing in Horace; Found safe

HORACE, N.D. (KVRR) — The Horace community jumps into action when they suspect a child went missing.

Cass County Sheriff’s Office says shortly before 5 this evening, they were told about a potentially missing child near the river in Horace.

His bike and a fishing pole was seen near the riverbank so fears grew that he may have went into the water.

Firefighters, deputies and Valley Water rescue searched for an hour and a half before the child eventually returned to the river with a family friend.

The child was not hurt.
