The largest of the recent loans went to Hillsboro, which is getting $8.6 million to revamp their infrastructure.

FARGO, N.D. – Six drinking water projects around North Dakota have received loans from the state for various repairs and improvements.

The Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) program, jointly administered by the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality and the North Dakota Public Finance Authority, has awarded six loans since March.

The biggest went to the city of Hillsboro. They’ve received $8.6 million to expand drinking water treatment capacity at their treatment plant.

Meanwhile, West Fargo has been granted a $750,000 loan to replace aging water mains in the Westwood Addition.

The four remaining loans, in order from largest amount of money to smallest, went to Mandan (who received two distinct loans), Portland, and Surrey.
