Fergus Falls woman sentenced for child endangerment

FERGUS FALLS, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — A Fergus Falls woman has been sentenced after pleading guilty to child endangerment for leaving her infant grandchild in a ditch last October.
52-year-old Anastasia (Stacy) Vaughn, was given 492 hours of community service and credit for the four days she had spent in jail.
She admitted to mixing alcohol with prescription drugs, becoming extremely intoxicated and unable to care for the baby.
She was confronted by someone passing by, put the baby on the ground and went back into her home.
The bystander then called police.
She was also given two years probation and cannot have unsupervised contact with any child under the age of 16, drink alcohol or use non-prescribed medications during that time.
