40th Avenue South Road Closures

The road in Fargo will see its lanes of traffic reduced in two different areas.

FARGO, N.D. – It’s the season of construction – and the city of Fargo has more closures planned for Monday.

First, 40th Avenue South will close between 15th Street South and University Drive South.

Crews will be working on replacing concrete at the intersection of University Drive South and 40th Avenue South.

So the lanes on University Drive South will also be reduced to one lane in each direction at 40th Avenue South.

The closure is expected to last two weeks.

Also, beginning on the morning of June 16, 40th Avenue South will be reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction between 36th Street South and 38th Street South.

This closure will allow for storm sewer repairs to be completed, and it should be reopened by the end of the day on Monday, June 23.
