WEST FARGO, N.D. – Bonanzaville in West Fargo saw a larger turnout than normal on June 14 thanks to a lowered admission price – free!

It was the third annual free admission day hosted by the old-time village and museum, made possible by sponsorships from 702 Communications and Sandy’s Donuts.

Doors opened at 10 and stayed that way until 5 in the evening.

Bonanzaville staff says that these events get more families to show up and lead to more children being interested in history.

“It seems like today’s been pretty busy, it’s kind of been a steady flow of people coming in and enjoying the exhibits,” said Jessica Nelson, program coordinator for Bonanzaville.

The free admssion day also showcased a few local vendors and a food truck run by the West Fargo Boy Scouts.

Bonanzaville will next have free admission for their Fourth of July festivities.
