Kidfest Returns to Island Park
The Fargo Park Department estimates there were about 10,000 total attendees for the Friday extravaganza.
FARGO, N.D. – The Fargo Park District celebrated its 26th annual Midwest Kid Fest on Friday, June 13.
While rain may have come in at the start of the festival, that didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of all the people who turned out.
Local businesses and organizations came out to provide informational tables, crafts, and games for both kids and parents to enjoy.
Other attractions included carriage rides, inflatables, and life-sized board games.
“It’s a very busy event, so we get around 10,000 people,” said Tatiana Friese of the Fargo Park District.
“I know that people from outside of town even show up too. So that’s exciting.”
The event’s annual Teddy Bear Parade also collected donations for the Great Plains Food Bank.
