West Fargo Residents Face Restricted Driveway Access

Near 8th Street West and Westwynd Drive, much of the road has been torn up for a complete overhaul.

WEST FARGO, N.D. – Road construction in a West Fargo neighborhood left some residents without access to their driveways on Friday, June 13.

The Westwynd Mill and Overlay Project is in the area near 8th St W and Westwynd Drive.

Crews will be resurfacing roads as well as conducting spot replacement of curbs and gutters in the area.

According to the city, residents were sent a notification letter when the project was approved and crews notified residence about the limited access to their driveways twenty-four hours in advance.

Many residents have regained access to their driveways, but the recent weather has slowed the curing process for the concrete. Those who still do not have access to their driveways should have access once it is finished curing.

The project is expected to be completed sometime in August.
