Crews respond to gas leak outside Grand Forks International Airport

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — Grand Forks Fire Department responds to a gas line that was hit outside Grand Forks International Airport.
It happened around 9 a.m. at 2806 Airport Drive.
Airport Fire personnel started to evacuate the buildings adjacent to the leak.
Xcel Energy was able to quickly stop the leak.
After no signs of gas, airport operations returned to normal.
The Fire Department was assisted by Altru Ambulance, UND Police Department, Xcel Energy, and the Grand Forks Airport Fire-Rescue.
