Duane’s House of Pizza location on University Drive demolished

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Just like its beloved pies, Duane’s House of Pizza in south Fargo is pretty much flat.

The pizza joint that’s stood in its University Drive location since 1975 is now demolished to make way for a new development.

It’s part of the overall South Plaza shopping center demolition, which makes way for a mixed-use project.

The $30 million ‘BLOC’ project includes nearly 130 new apartments and more than 15,000 square feet of retail space.

It’s set to be finished by the end of summer.

Duane’s ownership says they plan to reopen in the new location.
